On Sound and Rhythm (Excerpt)
A way to start teaching poetry to children and young adults.
BY JACK COLLOM
Full fathom five thy father lies;
Of his bones are coral made;
Those are pearls that were his eyes:
Nothing of him that doth fade,
But doth suffer a sea change
Into something rich and strange.
Sea nymphs hourly ring his knell:
Ding-dong.
Hark! now I hear them—Ding-dong, bell.
Possible new vocabulary:
trochaic tetrameter (能感受到我在这个词里卡了多少次吗……还有line one那里……)
alliteration
