The Apple App Store has been around for eight years, and has millions of apps. But just because there are millions of apps, that doesn’t mean that all the apps are good. In fact, here are a few stupid apps that have been in the store:

Staring Girl

This app is for lonely people. It is a Japanese girl who stares at you and sometimes says things in Japanese. It is kind of creepy, but if you want to pretend you have a girlfriend, this is a decent app.

Shake the Baby

This was one of the first apps to be banned on the app store. Basically, it is a game. You shake a baby until it dies…and then you get points for it. It’s a very morbid game.

Laser Pointer apps

There have been a lot of laser pointer apps released, in which people download it and think that their iPhone can be used as a laser pointer. But, surprise, the iPhone cannot be used as a laser pointer, so these apps are a huge scam.

I Am Rich app

This was an app that cost $999.99 to buy. It was on the app store for a day, and about eight people actually bought the app. The app only displayed a message, saying, “I am rich/ I deserv it/ I am good, healthy, and successful”. What a good app!

As said before, there are many apps in the app store, but that doesn’t mean every app is good. But as long as you don’t pay for a stupid app, then that is ok. Have you downloaded any stupid apps? What’s your favorite stupid app that you have heard of?
