What is Chinglish? Chinglish is “Chinese-style English”. English speakers find it funny because, although the translation might make sense in Chinese, it is very weird in English. It is common for many signs and food menus in China to have Chinglish on them. Here are some examples of Chinglish:

Care for life Do not fun

    Explodes the stomach

    Carful Drowning

As you can see, even though it these are in English, they do not make as much sense to use English speakers. For example, does the dish “explodes the stomach” really sound delicious? And do you really want to “be careful while drowining”?
What are some examples of Chinglish that you have seen? I would love to hear from you!

    如果你们愿意的话,你可以帮助我翻译我英语成中文,谢谢你们!
