Dick Cheney was the vice president of the US from 2000 to 2008, during the Bush years. He was notorious for being a very strict conservative. He was also a very powerful vice president, some say he was more powerful than Bush while they were in power. However, he was also very unpopular.
Here are some facts about him:
Dick Cheney has a pace maker. So, we often joke about him having no heart.
He had many shares in Haliburton, which was one of the first oil companies to go into Iraq after Saddam was overthrown.
He is staunchly anti-gay. Which is odd, because his daughter is a lesbian.
He and some lawyer friends of his went on a hunting trip while he was vice president. He shot one of his friends in the face by accident.
