I think everyone has seen or at least heard of the movie Titanic. James Cameron did an amazing job at making the characters look like their real life counterparts. For example, the actor who plays Captain Smith in the movie actually does look like the real Captain Smith.
我觉得每个人看过/听过“Titanic”。James Cameron电影的演员跟他们的对方看起来好像。比如说，电影的Captain Smith跟现在生活的看起来好像。

But not all the characters were necessarily real. Jack Dawson was not a real character, but there was someone on the ship who shared his initials. Joseph Dawson entered the doomed ship, signing his name as J Dawson….making some fans believe that James Cameron based Leonardo DiCaprio’s character on him. However, this J Dawson was not like Leonardo DiCaprio. In fact, the real J Dawson was an Irishman who worked on the Titanic as a coal trimmer (meaning he shoveled coal into the ship’s furnaces so that way the ship could move)

As for Rose….well she wasn’t real. And that naked drawing of her? That was done by James Cameron, and wasn’t based off of any drawing from the real ship. Sorry guys.
